— About

Care that meets the whole woman — her body, her history, and the season she's in.

I'm Olivia Davies. Registered Nurse, Women's Health & Maternal Wellbeing Practitioner, and mother of two.

I trained as a nurse over a decade ago and have spent my career working alongside women in the seasons of life that ask the most of them.

My practice sits at the intersection of clinical nursing, women's health, perinatal mental health, and somatic, trauma-aware care. It is shaped by years of bedside experience, my own lived experience, and ongoing study in the fields that matter most to the women I see.

I support women through stress, depletion, hormonal shifts, birth, postpartum, motherhood, body symptoms, emotional load, and transitions that ask more of the body than words alone can hold.

My work draws on current research in matrescence, perinatal nervous system regulation, attachment and infant mental health, NDC-informed responsive parenting, and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale and its limitations. I am also trained in biodynamic craniosacral therapy and continue to deepen my practice through clinical mentorship and study with leading practitioners in women's, maternal and somatic health.

The work I offer is the work I wanted, and couldn't find.

— Consultations

Evidence-informed, individualised care for women through depletion, pregnancy, postpartum and seasons of change.

Every session is shaped around what you're actually carrying. Clinically, emotionally, and physically.

Appointments are limited each month, which protects the quality of attention each woman receives. All consultations are available online via Zoom across Australia; in-person sessions are offered on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Women's Health & Maternal Wellbeing Consultation

1 hour  ·  Online via Zoom or in clinic

A focused, one-off session for women who want a clinical perspective and a thinking partner in the same room.

We slow down, take stock of what's actually happening, and work through it with both rigour and warmth. This may include the patterns around sleep, stress, mood, energy, hormones, cycle and the nervous system, as well as the body symptoms, emotional load, identity shifts and relational dynamics that can emerge through womanhood, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood.

You'll leave with a personalised written summary and curated resources to continue working with beyond our time together.

Women's Health & Maternal Wellbeing Package

3 × 1 hour  ·  Online via Zoom or in clinic

Three sessions for women who want continuity, depth, and a clinician walking alongside them through a particular season.

This is for when one conversation is not quite enough. Across the three sessions, we build a clearer picture of what is happening across your body, nervous system, emotional world and current life context, then return to it over time with care and attention.

The pace is yours. The structure holds.

Between sessions, you'll receive written reflections, suggested practices and resources tailored to what we've been working with.

For women moving through stress, depletion, hormonal shifts, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, motherhood, returning to work, identity change, relational load, or a season where the weight of it all needs more than a single session.

Birth & Postnatal Debrief

1 hour  ·  Online via Zoom or in clinic

A dedicated session to give your birth, pregnancy or early postpartum experience the time, language and clinical context it deserves.

Many women carry a version of their story that has never been fully heard, or has only been spoken about in fragments. Sometimes what happened makes sense on paper, but still lives differently in the body.

Together, we work through what happened, what it meant, what felt missed, and what may still be asking to be processed. With care, and without rush.

This work draws on current understandings of birth-related trauma, perinatal psychology and somatic integration. It is not a debrief in the bureaucratic sense. It is your story, given proper room.

Breastfeeding & Mastitis Support Consult

45 minutes  ·  Online via Zoom or in clinic  ·  Priority booking for acute mastitis

RN-led support for the feeding season: breastfeeding concerns, mastitis symptoms, recurrent inflammation, feeding patterns, pumping, oversupply and undersupply.

When mastitis arrives, it arrives fast, and it rarely waits for a convenient moment. These sessions are held with that urgency in mind: we screen for red flags, work through what your body needs right now, and put a clear plan in place, including the at-home support protocol I trust and use in my own practice, tailored to you.

Where medical review or referral is needed, I'll tell you plainly and guide you to it. You are not left to guess whether it's "bad enough" to seek help.

For acute symptoms, mention "mastitis" in your enquiry and I'll do my best to see you within 24 hours, online Australia-wide.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

75 minutes  ·  In clinic, Northern Beaches

A gentle, hands-on therapy that works at the level of the nervous system and the body's deeper rhythms of self-regulation. The contact is light. The work is profound.

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy invites the system into a quieter state, where long-held patterns of tension, vigilance and depletion can begin to soften. It can be deeply supportive for women moving through stress, burnout, nervous system overwhelm, chronic tension, emotional load, postpartum recovery or a season where the body is asking to be met more gently.

This is the kind of rest the body actually registers. Useful when you are stretched thin, recovering from birth, holding chronic tension, feeling disconnected from yourself, or simply ready to come back to your body.

— A note on the work
Women are profoundly under-supported in the seasons where their bodies, identities, relationships and nervous systems are reorganising.

The postpartum window is one of those seasons. So are pregnancy, birth, loss, hormonal change, depletion, burnout, motherhood, and the quieter life transitions that can ask more of a woman than she has language for.

Too often, women are left to translate their own symptoms, advocate for their own care, and hold the weight of change mostly alone.

This work exists to offer something different: clinical care, deep listening, and a body-based space where what you are carrying can be properly met.

— The Work

Care that takes the clinical seriously, and the woman seriously, in the same breath.

i.

The clinical, held with warmth

More than a decade of nursing, alongside ongoing study in women's health, perinatal mental health and somatic care. Rigour and warmth, held together.

ii.

A small, deliberate caseload

I keep my caseload intentionally small so the work can stay thoughtful, responsive and properly held.

iii.

Body-based, nervous-system aware

Gentle, body-based therapies that support the nervous system and make room for what the body has been carrying. The body, taken at its word.
